When I attended the Ganesha’s Invitation -Goddess Weekend, I had no idea what to expect. I knew I wanted to do something special for myself and when a friend recommended I attend, I decided to take the chance that this was exactly what I was looking for. Was it? Without a doubt. Did I feel comfortable all the time? Absolutely not. I found the whole concept challenging because I’m a self-confessed control freak and I didn’t have any agendas, schedules, to do lists, timeframes etc to work towards. Giving myself over to whatever happened on the weekend was liberating. There were very special moments that I will always remember and cherish, as well as moments that challenged me to my core. It was an absolute privilege to be part of the group of women who attended this Goddess Weekend and I would encourage anyone who may be thinking about attending to treat yourself to something extraordinary. Do it!!

My first Ganesha’s Invitation was at Solitude Retreat in the Gold Coast Hinterland the most wonderful venue set on 160 acres of sacred Aboriginal land. I had no idea what I was in for and wow what came up for me was all the pain I have been carrying for 40 years. To release this baggage has helped me to be born again, my heart has been closed for such a long time and now it is open. I actually feel my heart no more walls up and now understand what triggers old patterns and now trying to be mindful so they don’t keep occurring. I recommend to everyone male and female to experience this wonderful release and to share with like minded people this journey to unconditional love of ourselves. Thank you to Dawn, Scott and Alex for giving me my life back.

Ganesha's Invitation... what a beautiful concept... and for the journey to be guided with such love, safety and nurturing by Dawn, Alex, Lou and Scott makes for an amazing and enlightening experience. I found so much of myself that had been missing. I now approach all of my life with more confidence and purpose.......all this in just three days! It has been such a blessing to have done this amazing journey with these truly devoted and amazing people. My only regret was that I didn't do this earlier. And I am so excited about going to India in October...what an adventure of discovery this will be!!!!!

On the course it had been a journey of self discovery, an awakening of sorts. The unconditional love and acceptance over the weekend enabled personal healing that even after the course continues. The realisation that life is a journey not a destination has never been so clear. Over the whole weekend we laughed, we cried, we danced and we meditated such a soulful experience.
I have made life long friends and learnt life long techniques that I use on a day to day basis. Dawn you have change my life forever and to add an old cliché you've helped me be a better me.

Dawn's energy and ability to see you for who you truly are is a big part of why I kept going back for more.I felt safe and accepted for who I am. Even with all the different personalities on a course, Dawn has an amazing ability to keep the group grounded, in tune, on track and most of all laughing – because life should be fun. I have never laughed so much and enjoyed my time with learning a new hands-on skill. Having fun while learning truly is the best way to learn and Dawn proves this every time. Another wonderful fact about Dawn – she has many hilarious stories that keep the energy lighthearted and fun the whole time you are in her presence. How many teachers do you know do that?
What I truly connected with – but it took me time to realize and the more I realized, the more I liked it – that the way Dawn teaches is more nurturing guidance - to show you the way within, discover yourself and absolutely trust in yourself. Her way of guiding each of her students/followers in my mind, is truly traditional - the way many skills, abilities, trades and lessons have been handed down for hundreds of generations in any culture - from teacher graciously showing each of the techniques and then the student going straight into hands-on practicing right away. If you truly allow your heart and mind to open and align, you will walk away with more than you bargained for on any course with Dawn.
Dawn truly lives from the heart and you can feel her love of what she does and her deep, honest compassion for all souls. After being in Dawns energy for a while, you are left charged with the innate desire to want to be a better person for the sake of the world. It is this energy that makes her ever so unique at leading the way with all of her teachings. It is only with a masterful teacher do you end up realizing that everything in life is all about going with the flow, taking in on an intuitive level what you need to take away from the teachings and letting go of all that is no longer needed. Trust in your teacher and in turn you can trust yourself. Her courses aren’t just about duplicating what you have been shown, but creating your own way to let your inner light shine.
