ABOUT US

Dawn Charlton

Dawn is the first female and westerner outside of Hawaii to be passed down a lineage ritually from the Ka Huna (keeper of the secret) Sherman Dudoit. She was trained by Sherman as an apprentice for 4 years, one-on-one intensively in all aspects of this sacred ancient healing. The lineage is Traditional Old Style Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage.

Dawn has a unique ability to believe in people, see their strengths and empower them by giving them the tools to release old patterns that no longer serve them (provided they are open and willing to help themselves). Her ability to speak the truth with love and compassion and her ability to genuinely care has helped thousands of people find their path.

Along with a very busy personal practice (form which has come solely by word of mouth) Dawn teaches this ancient wisdom and style in workshops all around the world. Previously Dawn worked in pharmacy and has studied first aid and CPR extensively.

Alex Tauranga

Alex has been a personal trainer for the past 9 years, having held management positions with a leading global fitness company and developed corporate health and fitness programs with some major Australian companies. Alex has a knack for bringing playfulness and fun into any activity whilst being able to achieve the desired results.

Alex is a level 3 practitioner and facilitator for Hawaiian massage with Dawn Charlton. He also has Senior First Aid and CPR qualifications which he has put into practice in his former career in the New Zealand SAS in operational roles around the world.

Scott Wright

Scott works with Dawn Charlton as facilitator in the Hawaiian massage training. He also takes guided meditation classes and uses a variety of modalities to help people gain a clearer perspective of who they truly are. Scott’s unique gift is his ability to relate and accept all different types of personalities and allowing people to be understood and heard.

Previously Scott worked at Flight Centre in various senior management roles including Head of Global Distribution and Commercials. It was during his posting in India to oversee the integration of a recent Flight Centre acquisition that he invited Dawn, Louise and Alex on a holiday to his favourite part of the Himalayas (the Ganges), it was here that this concept of tours was born.
Louise Fewtrell
